Before mounting Micro Tech Roller Burnishing Tool in your machine, loosen the set screw in the adjustment nut [O type tools] or pull upward direction of the top spring loaded clutch [C type tools]. Move the tool back and forth in the bore or OD of the prepared work-piece, meanwhile screwing the cage sleeve assembly into the adjustment nut untill there is a slight drag on the rolls.

Screw the cage-sleeve assembly into the adjustment nut an additional 1/3 revolution. Use the 1/6 increment markings on the adjustment nut as guide. Then tighten the lock screw [O type tools] or Free the top clutch to lock into bottom clutch [C type tools], insert the tool and burnish the first piece. Check it for size and Finish, and if necessary, make final adjustments as described above. One revolution of adjustment nut is equal to 0.06 mm, when the tool is properly set means, you should achive the desired finish with a single pass.
